REVIEW: Renewal Sunless Tan Mist

My quest to find the best sunnless tanning product continues . . .

Renewal Sunless Tan Ultra-fine Airbrush Mist is Rite-Aid's version of Neutrogena's Sunless Tanning MicroMist, which was a pretty good product when I tried it many years ago. So I thought I'd try Rite-Aid's knock-off to see if it was comparable. I chose the Medium shade.

The Pros:

Renewal Sunless Tan was super easy to apply thanks to their spray-from-any-angle can. Also, as long as you keep the can moving while spraying to evenly distribute the mist, there's no need to rub it in or spread it around  with your hands. In fact, my hands stayed perfectly clean. It dries quickly, so you can get dressed and get on with your day. Also, it did not rub off on my clothes or leave embarrassing streaks, like the L'oreal product did in my last review.

The Cons:

Color change was more subtle than I would have liked, so it will take more applications to achieve the desired shade on my skin, but its so quick and easy to use, I don't mind. It does have that familiar odor that seem to plague all sunless tanning products, although it was much fainter than others I have tried. Also, my legs seem very dry the next day, so make sure to apply lotion once its dried.

Overall, I like this product, but I will continue to try others until I find the perfect one.
